Sarah Alexandre Cadet

Born and raised in Haiti, I discovered my love for art at a young age as a way to express myself and find beauty in the world. After losing my mother at 16 and growing up without my father present, makeup became my form of therapy and self-expression—a way to show the world our many faces and transformations.

With over 5 years of professional experience, I've had the honor of working at New York Fashion Week and Miss Grand New Jersey. My international collaborations include models from Rwanda, Egypt, Amsterdam, Russia, Haiti, Dominican Republic, and Peru, bringing a global perspective to my artistry.

My philosophy is simple: makeup should enhance your natural beauty, not mask it. Each face I work on is a canvas with a story—I believe in creating looks that make you feel confident and beautiful, celebrating your unique features and heritage.

My Journey

My path to becoming a makeup artist began in Haiti, where I was born and raised. From an early age, I was drawn to colors, textures, and the transformative power of art. After losing my mother at 16 and with my father absent from my life, I turned to creativity as both an escape and a way to process my emotions.

Makeup became more than just a hobby—it was a way for me to express myself when words weren't enough. I saw how a simple brush stroke could transform not just appearances, but confidence and mood. This realization sparked my passion for helping others experience that same transformation.

My journey brought me to the United States, where I pursued formal training in makeup artistry while honoring my Haitian heritage and multicultural perspective. Over the past 5+ years, I've worked with clients from diverse backgrounds, cultures, and walks of life—from brides on their special day to models from around the world.

Working at New York Fashion Week and with Miss Grand New Jersey have been career highlights, but what truly fulfills me is the personal connection I make with each client. Every face tells a story, and I consider it a privilege to be part of that narrative, even if just for a day.
